A She for She forum which aims to celebrate women’s solidarity was organized by the French Embassy last May 16, 2017 at Events Center, Makati City to promote women’s solidarity.
School of Life Program of ACAY was invited to partake of this great event. Some of the School of Life beneficiaries, staff and volunteers were present for the whole day discussion. One of ACAY staff, Cookie who was also a former beneficiary of the program gave her talk about the mission of ACAY and its advocacy in protecting, caring and rebuilding the women of our society through its unique pedagogical approach. Some of the the beneficiaries also gave a dance presentation for everyone.
The forum was also attended by different women who came from different walks of life. Vice President of the Philippines and 1 Senator were also present in the event.
