The Mission in the Barangay Santa Cruz in Tanauan Leyte helped the whole barangay with a program of recovery and sustainability following the traumatic experience of the Yolanda super typhoon which struck in November 2013.

Income Generating Projects
Income Generating Projects in Tacloban Missions aims to sustain the programs in barangay Sta. Cruz and at the same time to help the residents earn small income that will help provide their daily needs.

- Water station
Trainings
Training is one of the main competency of ACAY composed of Life skills training and formation: self-awareness, personality development, leadership training. These training is extended to Sta. Cruz Mission. Training are divided into:
- Training for the youth
- Training for the teens
- Training for the children
- Training for the parents
Educational Assistance
ACAY extended its scholarship to help deserving students whose parents has a very low income and cannot afford to send their children.
- 7 youth from the Sta. Cruz barangay benefits the scholarship program
Play Center
The primary aim is for the children learn to socialize and be prepared to enter the preparatory school, for them to build a good foundation of education and to make the parents free from taking care of their small children and be involved to livelihood activities.
- Volunteer teachers are trained on understanding the behavior of a 2-3 year old child, teaching strategies such as: how to creatively tell stories, creating materials, learning action songs and others.
