Providing livelihood assistance for families severely affected by typhoon Yolanda

After the devastation caused by the typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan), ACAY wasted no time to gather all the help and means they can to be able to respond to the immediate needs of our fellow Filipinos especially the residence of Barangay Sta. Cruz who were greatly affected by the destructive storm because of their location which is near the sea.

When typhoon Yolanda left Barangay Sta. Cruz in Tanauan, Leyte. It also left leaving the people with no means of starting their lives again. All their source of livelihood where destroyed by the typhoon.

In respond to this, ACAY in partnership with Conrad N. Hilton Fund for Sisters and other donors gave 50 piglets, 10 pedicabs and 1 multi-cabas a source of initial income to the chosen families of Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Tanauan, Leyte who were severely affected of the typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) to help them at least put back and start their normal lives again after the disaster of the typhoon Yolanda.

The residence of Barangay Sta. Cruz in Tanauan, Leyte were very thankful for the respones and generosity of ACAY and different individuals who were able to share even a little of what they have for the benefit of those who are in need.
