Our commitment
ACAY collects as little data as possible and only uses it as described on this page. We never sell, rent or exchange your data. This website uses no audience measurement, no advertising and no tracking pixels.
This policy complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act. For ACAY Missions Philippines, it also complies with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

Newsletter sign-up
- Data

- Purpose
- To send you our news. You confirm your sign-up through a validation email. Brevo may measure email opens and clicks for sending statistics.

- Until you unsubscribe, which you can do at any time using the link in every email

Donations
- Data
- First and last name, address, email, amount and date of the donation
- Purpose
- To process your donation, send you your tax receipt and thank you. Payment is made directly on HelloAsso or PayPal: ACAY never sees your bank details.

- Processing your donation and our accounting and tax obligations

- 3 years after your last donation to keep you informed; accounting records and tax receipts are archived for the legal period (10 years)

Who can see your data?
Only the ACAY people who need it for their work (staff, volunteers in charge of the newsletter or donations) have access to it, as well as our technical providers, solely for the service they provide to us: OVH (hosting), Brevo (newsletter), HelloAsso and PayPal (donation payments).
If your request concerns the other ACAY organisation (for example a question about a programme in the Philippines), we may forward it so that they can answer you.
Transfers outside the European Union
Our main tools host your data in the European Union. However, a few transfers outside the European Union may occur:
- exchanges with ACAY Missions Philippines, in the Philippines, when your request concerns them;
- displaying some pages, which loads fonts from Google Fonts and technical libraries from the jsDelivr network: your browser then sends them your IP address.
Whenever a transfer occurs, it is covered by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR (adequacy decision or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses).

This website sets no audience measurement or advertising cookies, which is why no banner asks for your consent. Only technical cookies, essential for the website to work, may be used:

The HelloAsso donation form embedded on the “Donate” page may set its own cookies, which are needed for payment. They are governed by HelloAsso's privacy policy.
Your rights
At any time, you can:
- access your data and get a copy of it;
- have it corrected or deleted;
- object to its use or ask for its use to be restricted;
- receive it in a readable format (portability);
- withdraw your consent, for example by unsubscribing from the newsletter;
- give instructions about what happens to your data after your death.
To exercise these rights, write to info@acaymission.org (ACAY Missions Philippines) or info@acay.fr (ACAY France), or by post to ACAY, 25 rue Fauchier, 13002 Marseille, France. We will reply within one month.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines (privacy.gov.ph) or with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
Security
The website is only available over a secure connection (HTTPS). Access to the website's administration and to our tools is restricted to authorised people with personal passwords.
Minors
The newsletter and donations are intended for adults. If you are under 15, please ask a parent's permission before sending us your details.
Changes
We may update this policy, for example if we add a new tool. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. See also our legal notice.
