Family program – March 2015

ACAY Parents Training

Last March, 14th, in SOL, 13 parents attended the ACAY Parents Training with all MVP boys and SOL girls.

The morning session was allotted to discussing with each parents about the progress of their children. For the MVP boys’ parents, they were mainly happy to hear about the progress that their son is doing and to notice the way their family life has improved.

After a lunch in a really good atmosphere with parents, boys and girls, we started the afternoon session, focused on the topic “Five Love Languages”. Two of the girls were excited to learn that their love language is “quality time” while the other is “acts of service”, as if something has opened and they were able to understand why they were behaving as such. The parents were also happy to know what their love language is and even asked for a copy of the quiz so that they can do it with their other children at home. They said that they will do the quiz and they will discuss how they can better show love and concern with each other.
